Role & responsibilities :

- Studying tech packs: Demonstrate excellence in understanding the clients needs, and breaking down their requirements in an efficient and easy to understand manner.
- Procurement of raw materials: Preparing bills of materials for ordering of raw materials, and ensuring that purchases are made in the timeline required.
- Development of prototypes: Ensuring that red seal and gold seal prototypes are developed within the timelines requested by the client and that key milestones are achieved.
- Feedback and communication: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders within the organization, ensuring an productive pipeline of communication and execution.
- Operational Excellence: Follow established SOPs to ensure service excellence. Focus on maximizing productivity, and optimizing filing and distribution processes.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to the production facilities of the company domestically when required.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Experience: Minimum 1-5 years in export merchandising, with a successful track record in handling and executing specific client requirements.



Experience in fashion, woven clothing, luxury or premium mens product development is highly advantageous.
- Education: Minimum Bachelors degree. Candidates with additional qualifications such as fashion design will be given preference.

Skills:

- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills preferred.
- Knowledge of PD tools like Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels from the factory floor to senior decision-makers.
- Strong analytical abilities to streamline processes and develop effective solutions
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for developing recent business opportunities.
