Role Description The Assistant Manager Internal Audit is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves planning and executing internal audit assignments across finance, operations, and compliance functions to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
Responsibilities include performing detailed testing of transactions and processes, reviewing accounting and financial records, identifying control gaps, and recommending practical improvements. The role also includes preparing explicit audit reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, following up on remediation actions, and supporting statutory and internal financial audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends,
and evaluate risks.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CFA, CIA, or equivalent preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management,, ideally in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, corporate governance practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/ERP tools, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
