JOB PURPOSE To manage day-to-day IT infrastructure operations at the plant/location level covering IT asset management, help desk/end-user support, servers, network, and system administration ensuring reliable, secure, and well-documented IT services that support uninterrupted business and manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage IT assets including hardware, software licenses, tagging, allocation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Monitor asset warranties, AMCs, and coordinate renewals.
- Handle IT helpdesk operations, ticket resolution, escalation, and SLA adherence.
- Track helpdesk KPIs and maintain knowledge base/FAQs.
- Support server administration, user provisioning, patch management, backups, and monitoring.
- Assist in disaster recovery, backup verification, and capacity planning activities.
- Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, network devices, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with ISPs, telecom providers, and vendors for network and infrastructure support.
- Administer user accounts, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 access management.
- Ensure endpoint security compliance, patching, antivirus, and remediation activities.
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, asset records, and audit readiness.




- Liaise with OEMs, AMC partners, and service providers to ensure service quality and SLA compliance.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding through asset management and access provisioning.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering (IT, Computer Science, Electronics) or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+, MCSA, CCNA, ITIL Foundation) are preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 4-7 years of overall IT infrastructure experience, covering a mix of help desk/end-user support, server administration, and network operations.
- Experience in a plant/manufacturing workplace is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with IT asset management processes and tools, and with Active Directory/Microsoft 365 user administration.
