Job Description – Physics Teacher

Role Overview

Gateway International School is seeking a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher to deliver engaging, concept-driven instruction and help students develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective Physics lessons aligned with the IB curriculum and International curriculum.
Build strong conceptual understanding through practical and application-based learning.
Conduct and supervise Physics laboratory sessions with a strong focus on safety.
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, question papers, assignments, and learning resources.
Monitor student progress and provide timely academic support and feedback.
Prepare students effectively for IB examinations and competitive examinations, where applicable.
Maintain accurate academic records and ensure timely syllabus completion.
Use cutting-edge teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance learning.




Maintain effective classroom discipline and foster a positive learning workplace.
Collaborate with colleagues on academic planning and school initiatives.
Participate in parent meetings, staff training, school events, and other responsibilities assigned by the school leadership.

Candidate Profile
M.Sc. / M.Phil. in Physics with B.Ed. qualification.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
Robust subject knowledge and proven classroom management skills.
Experience teaching MYP & DP is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in integrating technology and practical learning into classroom instruction.
A student-centric approach with a passion for academic excellence.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
