Key Responsibilities
Production Management
Plan, schedule, and monitor daily/monthly machining production.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer requirements.
Optimize machine utilization, manpower, and production capacity.
Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch.
Machine Shop Operations
Manage CNC, VMC, HMC, VTL, conventional machines, and other machining equipment.
Ensure proper machine loading and production sequencing.
Monitor cycle time, setup time, rejection, rework, and productivity.
Identify and eliminate bottlenecks and production losses.
Manpower Management
Allocate operators, setters, and helpers according to production requirements.
Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.
Develop operators/setters through training and skill improvement.
Ensure adequate manpower for all shifts.
Quality Control
Ensure production is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and control plans.
Coordinate with the Quality Department to control rejection and rework.




Ensure first-piece approval and in-process inspection requirements are followed.
Take corrective action for recurring quality issues.
Tooling & Consumables
Control cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, gauges, and machining consumables.
Monitor tool life and optimize cutting parameters.
Reduce tooling costs and unnecessary consumption.
Coordinate for timely availability of tools and fixtures.
Maintenance Coordination
Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Minimize machine downtime and ensure quick restoration of machines.
Monitor machine condition and report recurring breakdowns.
Cost & Productivity Improvement
Reduce machining cost through cycle-time reduction and process improvement.
Improve OEE, machine utilization, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency.
Implement Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Control scrap, rejection, rework, and overtime costs.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
