Role Summary
Responsible for preparing and executing HVAC and cleanroom designs, calculations, equipment selections and technical drawings under the guidance of the Design Head.
Key Responsibilities
Review project specifications and understand design requirements.
Prepare HVAC design calculations.
Perform/coordinate:
Cooling load calculations
Airflow calculations
Duct sizing
Static pressure calculations
Equipment selection
AHU selection
Fan selection
HEPA filter selection
Diffuser/grille selection
Damper selection
Prepare HVAC layouts and schematic drawings.
Prepare ducting layouts and sections.
Prepare cleanroom HVAC layouts.
Coordinate with architectural, electrical, civil and other MEP drawings.
Prepare equipment schedules and BOQs.
Prepare technical submittals.
Coordinate with customers and consultants for drawing approvals.
Incorporate comments and revise drawings.
Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure design feasibility.
Coordinate with Project Engineers regarding site requirements.
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation.
Assist the Design Head in developing standard designs and engineering practices.
