We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and maintain accurate financial records. The role involves financial reporting, reconciliations, finalisation of accounts, and coordination with auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements, including timely filings
Prepare financial statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
Conduct bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and finalisation of accounts
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure proper documentation
Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Keep track of updates in tax laws and regulatory changes
Required Skills & Competencies:
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and TDS compliance
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, or ERP systems)
Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and coordination skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Finance
CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred
