Job Purpose
To plan, coordinate and monitor production activities to ensure timely production and delivery of orders while maintaining optimum utilization of machines, manpower and materials.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans as per customer orders and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch departments.
Monitor production against planned targets and highlight deviations.
Prepare machine-wise and process-wise production schedules.
Ensure availability of raw materials, dyes, chemicals, yarn/fabric and other required materials.
Monitor WIP, finished goods and pending orders.
Follow up on production delays, machine breakdowns and material shortages.
Maintain PPC reports, production status and MIS reports.
Coordinate with Marketing/Merchandising for order priorities and delivery commitments.
Optimize machine capacity and production sequence.
Identify bottlenecks and take corrective action to achieve production targets.
Support inventory control and reduction of production lead time.
Required Qualification
Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech in Textile, Production or relevant field.
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in PPC in a textile manufacturing company.
Experience in Dyeing/Processing/Knitting/Weaving will be preferred.
