Instrumentation Executive, Malt Unit

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrumentation Executive to join our Malt Unit team at a leading liquor company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of all instrumentation and control systems within the malt production facility, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all plant instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, valves, and analytical instruments.
Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and SCADA systems.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Diagnose and resolve complex instrumentation and control system issues.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams on system upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibration reports,



and spare parts inventory.
Ensure all instrumentation activities comply with company safety policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Instrumentation Engineer/Executive in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food & beverage, brewing, or malting industry.
In-depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation principles, control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA), and calibration techniques.
Proficiency in reading P&IDs;, schematics, and technical manuals.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
