To coordinate and manage Pan-India Import & Export documentation, statutory payments, Stamp Duty, port/terminal charges and other operational payments. The person will ensure timely payment, proper documentation, coordination with Customs Brokers, shipping lines, ports, transporters and internal departments, and maintain accurate records.
Stamp Duty & Statutory Payments
Coordinate and process Stamp Duty payments for import/export shipments wherever applicable.
Verify Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Delivery Order and other supporting documents before payment.
Ensure timely payment of Stamp Duty to avoid shipment/delivery delays.
Collect and maintain Stamp Duty payment receipts and supporting documents.
Coordinate with respective state authorities, ports, shipping lines and agents regarding Stamp Duty requirements.
Monitor pending Stamp Duty payments and follow up until closure.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Timely completion of Stamp Duty and statutory payments.
Zero/Minimum payment and documentation errors.
Timely customs clearance and shipment release.
Accurate maintenance of payment records.
Reduction in demurrage/detention caused by payment delays.
Timely submission of MIS and reconciliation.
Effective coordination with Pan-India branches, vendors and customers.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
