Position: Chinese CDP (Chef de Partie)
Department: Kitchen – Chinese Section
Experience: 2–4 years preferred

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to the restaurant menu and standards.
Handle Chinese wok, sauces, noodles, fried rice, starters and main-course dishes.
Maintain consistent taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
Complete daily mise-en-place and ensure all ingredients are ready before service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the Chinese kitchen section.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients and report shortages to the Chef.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff during busy service.
Follow food safety, storage and temperature-control procedures.
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.




Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff when required.

Requirements
Good knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently during busy restaurant hours.
Positive teamwork and communication skills.
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Ability to maintain consistent quality and portion control.
