Main responsibilities
Diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacement, brake checks, and fluid checks.
Repair and replace faulty components such as brakes, suspension, steering, clutch, engine parts, and electrical components.
Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical or electrical faults.
Carry out preventive maintenance according to manufacturer/service schedules.
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety.
Maintain service records and report identified issues.
Follow workshop safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and electronic diagnostic systems safely.
Communicate with service advisors, supervisors, and customers about vehicle problems and repairs.
