We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Kitchen Assistant Intern to join us and assist with the behind-the-scenes preparation and execution of our dining experiences.
Role Overview
As a Kitchen Assistant Intern, you will work closely with me and assist with food preparation, kitchen organisation, event prep, and service support.
This is a hands-on role and a great prospect for someone who is passionate about food and wants to gain practical experience in a agile, creative kitchen workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Kitchen Support
Assist with ingredient preparation, including chopping, peeling, washing, measuring, and basic cooking tasks.
Help with mise en place and preparation ahead of supper club events.
Event & Service Preparation
Support the preparation and execution of supper club events.
Assist with plating,
garnishing, and ensuring food is prepared and presented according to standards.
Help with packing, organising, and setting up ingredients and kitchen equipment for events where required.
Candidate Preferences
Passionate about food and cooking, with a genuine interest in the culinary industry.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.
Willingness to learn and take instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with hands-on work and flexible working hours around events.
