Job Description:
Karunalay Balgruh is looking for a compassionate and responsible Counsellor to support the emotional, behavioural, and overall well-being of children residing at the Balgruh.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counselling to children.
Understand children's emotional, behavioural, and social needs.
Provide appropriate emotional support and guidance.
Maintain counselling records, case notes, and reports.
Monitor the progress and well-being of children.
Coordinate with caregivers, social workers, and management.
Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Support children in developing healthy coping and communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
MSW or M.A. Psychology.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient approach towards children.
Ability to work in a child-care/institutional workplace.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in child counselling, child care, social work, NGOs, rehabilitation centres, or residential child-care institutions will be an advantage.
