Domestic Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end domestic procurement* of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other business requirements.

Prepare, release, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs)* and ensure timely delivery.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable domestic vendors/suppliers*.
Obtain quotations, compare commercial terms, negotiate prices, and achieve cost-effective purchases.

Monitor purchase rates, lead times, payment terms, and supplier performance*.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts teams for smooth procurement operations.

Ensure required COA/quality documents* are received from suppliers wherever applicable.
Follow up on pending orders and ensure material availability as per production requirements.
Handle purchase documentation, vendor records, quotations, POs, GRNs, and invoices.




Develop alternate sources to minimize supply risks and dependency on single vendors.

Prepare regular purchase and procurement MIS/reports* for management.
Requirements

5+ years of experience in Domestic Purchase / Procurement, preferably in the Plastic/Packaging Manufacturing Industry*.
Robust vendor negotiation and supplier management skills.

Positive understanding of PO, procurement cycle, inventory coordination, and commercial terms*.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software systems*.
Strong follow-up, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet timelines.

Pay: ₹10,872.30 - ₹25,151.12 per month
