Role & responsibilities
Receive and inspect construction materials delivered to the site.
Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, and stock.
Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically.
Issue materials to site teams as per approved requirements.
Monitor stock levels and prepare material requirement/reorder reports.
Maintain GRN, material issue slips, stock registers, and related documents.
Coordinate with the Purchase, Project, and Accounts teams.
Check materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Prevent material damage, wastage, and unauthorized usage.
Track rapid-moving and critical construction materials.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safety within the store area.
