Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets in line with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of production activities.
Utilize advanced production planning tools and techniques to analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and track production performance metrics, including yield, cycle times, downtime, and throughput, to identify prospects for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)



for production planning and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Drive initiatives for inventory optimization, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, to minimize inventory holding costs while ensuring product availability.

Preferred candidate profile
Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning and control roles in the tire manufacturing industry only. No other industry experience will be considered.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Master's degree preferred.
