Role & responsibilities
Perform multi-step organic synthesis of API intermediates and final products.
Develop and optimize synthetic routes for improved yield, purity, and cost.
Lead process development and optimization projects from lab to commercial scale.
Review synthetic routes, process risks, and cost optimization strategies.
Drive scale-up, technology transfer, and plant troubleshooting activities.
Review technical reports, batch records, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement, and Regulatory teams.
Guide and mentor R&D; scientists/executives while ensuring quality and safety compliance.
Identify innovation prospects and support continuous process improvement.
Ensure projects are completed within quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
