The Computer Hardware Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and related equipment. The technician will troubleshoot hardware issues, ensure optimal performance of computer systems, and support the IT team in various hardware-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and related devices.
Set up workstations with necessary hardware components and ensure proper connectivity.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Manage and resolve hardware-related incidents and service requests.
Repairs and Replacements:
Repair or replace defective hardware components.
Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs and part replacements.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware-related issues.
Assist in the setup and support of hardware for company events and meetings.
Educational Qualifications
Degree /Diploma in computer science, information technology, electronics
CompTIA A+ certification preferred
