Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant Payments to manage day-to-day payment activities, vendor payments, bank transactions, and payment documentation. The candidate should be active, accurate, and able to coordinate with internal departments and vendors to ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process vendor and supplier payments as per approved bills and payment schedules.
Verify invoices, purchase orders, approvals, and supporting documents before making payments.
Prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper accounting records.
Handle NEFT/RTGS/IMPS/cheque payments and maintain payment records.
Maintain and reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis.
Track accounts payable and outstanding payments.
Coordinate with purchase, stores, sales,



and other departments regarding payment requirements.
Follow up with concerned departments for pending approvals and documents.
Ensure payments are made accurately and within the agreed timelines.
Maintain proper records of vendor ledgers and payment transactions.
Assist in GST and TDS-related payment/accounting requirements.
Prepare daily/weekly payment reports for management.
Monitor cash and bank balances and highlight upcoming payment requirements.
Identify payment-related issues and provide timely solutions.
Support the Accounts Head in daily accounting and finance activities.
