Direct and manage all plant engineering with overall responsibilities for current product development & maintenance-related activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Review of product quality related customer complaint and feedback.
Overall control of QA department
Identification of training needs and evaluation of training to personnel reporting to him.
Review of In-house, supplier quality performance.
Review customer complaints.
Attend Management Review Meeting.
Review in-house, supplier and customer PPM.
Get PPAP approval from customer.
Prepare inspection standard for incoming, in-process and final inspection.
Overall responsibility for inspection activities at all stages of production.
Prepare annual supplier audit plan
Audit supplier as per annual plan Audit & current supplier.
Calculate and monitor supplier, in-house and customer PPM.
Monitor COPQ.
Identify MME requirements for product inspection.
Initiate CAPA against in-house, in-process and SCAP- customer end quality problems.
Follow-up supplier CAPA.
Analyze supplier rejection / rework
Initiate any change/modification required for control plan / FMEA
Supervise Engineer (Incoming, In-process & Final inspectors)
Responsible for ISO/TS Documentation.
Preferred Qualification & Education
Bachelors degree / Diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering plus minimum 10 – 15 years industrial experience
Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.
Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Robust computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databasesRole & responsibilities
