Role & responsibilities
Prepare 2D & 3D engineering drawings as per project requirements.
Design and develop PP/PPH tanks, PP ducting systems, scrubbers, industrial equipment and fabrication components.
Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, layouts and BOMs.
Review customer/project specifications and convert them into manufacturing drawings.
Coordinate with Production, Estimation, Purchase and QC teams.
Make design modifications based on production and site requirements.
Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with required standards and specifications.
Prepare material specifications and assist the Purchase team with technical requirements.
Resolve fabrication-related design issues in coordination with the production team.
Maintain proper records of drawings,
revisions and technical documents.
Support cost optimization and design improvement initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks will be an advantage.
Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of PP/PPH materials, tanks, ducting and industrial equipment is preferred.
Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, BOM and material specifications.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
