We are seeking an experienced Data Visualization & BI Developer to transform complex datasets into actionable, high-impact insights. Leveraging Databricks as our core data intelligence platform, you will design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade dashboards in both databricks, Power BI and Tableau. You will play a critical role in standardizing reporting across business functionsparticularly in retail analytics and operationsand driving scalable data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End BI Development
Design & Build: Create intuitive, interactive, and high-performing dashboards in databricks, Power BI and Tableau that support operational and executive decision-making.
Advanced Logic: Develop complex DAX calculations, Power Query (M) transformations, and Tableau Level of Detail (LOD) expressions to build robust semantic models.
Financial & Operational Analytics:
Translate business requirements into trusted KPIs. Build targeted scorecards and dashboards for critical metrics, tracking items like Accounts Receivable (AR),
Accounts Payable (AP), and overall financial health.
Databricks & Data Architecture
Platform Integration: Connect Power BI and Tableau directly to Databricks clusters and Databricks SQL warehouses.
Query Optimization: Optimize pushdown queries for the lakehouse architecture and utilize Delta Sharing for secure, seamless data access without unnecessary duplication.
Data Modeling: Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to align transformations between upstream curated layers (e.g., Databricks, SAP source tables) and the BI consumption layer. Establish and maintain scalable star schemas.
