Looker BI Developer Look ML Role & responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Looker.
Design and build LookML models, views, explores, and dashboards based on business requirements.
Create and manage data models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
Develop reusable metrics, dimensions, and measures within LookML.
Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across BI solutions.
Integrate Looker with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL, etc.
Monitor dashboard performance and implement optimization techniques.




Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues.
Create scheduled reports, alerts, and automated data delivery solutions.
Support users with ad hoc reporting and analytical requirements.
Maintain documentation for data models, dashboards, and reporting processes.
Follow BI best practices, security standards, and data access controls.
