This role includes developing firmware before the silicon is finalized, working closely with hardware interfaces, and integrating various tests and application programming interfaces. The engineer actively participates in software build processes, conducts thorough design and code evaluations, and ensures that product implementations meet quality standards through rigorous testing and validation.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align software with hardware capabilities is also a key aspect of daily activities.Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and silicon components.- Document design decisions and test results to support knowledge sharing and future development.- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding embedded systems concepts.- Continuously improve firmware development processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.Qualified & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Embedded C++.- Experience with low-level programming and hardware interfacing techniques.- Strong debugging skills using hardware and software tools.- Familiarity with software build systems and version control.- Ability to perform design and code reviews effectively.- Knowledge of testing methodologies and validation processes for embedded systems.Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Embedded C++.- This position is based at our BDC7C - SEZ office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
