Robust grasp of JavaScript fundamentals
Some experience with TypeScript (even a personal project)
Ability to write basic SQL queries (select, insert, joins, etc.)
Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP basics
Bonus: experience with Next.js, Jest, or any AWS services
What You’ll Work On
Building APIs and serverless functions using TypeScript + Node.js
Writing MySQL queries and understanding DB schema design
Occasionally contributing to the frontend in Next.js
Integration with third-party fintech APIs (Razorpay, MF, shares, etc.)
Writing unit tests for critical modules
Learning how a real fintech startup operates and scales backend systems
Prerequisites
A GitHub portfolio or link to 1–2 projects you've worked on
Eagerness to learn fast and build real features
Willingness to take ownership and debug like a detective
