Position Overview

Intellipaat seeks a proficient Instructor - MERN who will play a

dual role as a core product developer and technical instructor/mentor.

The selected candidate will:

- Architect and build scalable full-stack applications.
- Deliver technical training sessions on MERN stack technologies.
- Mentor and guide students in developing real-world, industry-grade projects.

This is a high-impact role suited for professionals passionate about both engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.

Principal Responsibilities

Product Development Responsibilities

● Design and implement scalable web applications utilizing the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js,

React.js, Node.js).

- Leverage Python for backend automation, data pipelines, and LMS integrations.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs, optimize databases, and enforce best practices in system design

and architecture.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews.

Training & Mentorship Responsibilities

- Deliver live training sessions on MERN stack and full-stack development concepts.
- Design curriculum modules, coding assignments, and capstone projects aligned with industry

standards.





- Mentor students in building end-to-end projects (frontend, backend, database, deployment).
- Conduct code reviews for student submissions and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Support learners through doubt-clearing sessions, debugging assistance, and architectural

guidance.

● Guide students in best practices such as clean code, Git workflows, API design, and deployment

strategies.

● Assist learners in preparing job-ready portfolios and GitHub repositories.

Qualifications and Experience

● Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (B.Tech

preferred).

● Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development using MERN

technologies.

- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, backend services, or automation.
- Experience in delivering technical training, mentoring, or conducting workshops (corporate or

academic preferred).

Technical Skills Required

- Proficiency in Python, modern JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth).
- Version control using Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Containerization using Docker.
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure).
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Desirable Competencies

● Experience with React, Next.js, GraphQL, or Python-based ML frameworks (TensorFlow,

scikit-learn).

- Prior experience in edtech, SaaS platforms, or developer communities.
- Public speaking, technical content creation, or open-source contributions.
- Robust communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
