Combine a rewarding career with life in paradise.Key Responsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of cardiac rhythm disorders,including atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, bradyarrhythmias, and conduction abnormalities.• Perform and interpret comprehensive electrophysiology studies for the diagnosis and treatmentplanning of complex arrhythmias.• Perform catheter ablation procedures, including treatment of supraventricular tachycardia,atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, and appropriate ventricular arrhythmias.• Assess patients for and perform implantation and management of cardiac implantableelectronic devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), andcardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices.• Conduct device interrogation, programming, troubleshooting, and long-term follow-up ofpatients with implanted cardiac devices.• Interpret ECGs, ambulatory rhythm monitoring, event monitoring,



and other relevantcardiovascular diagnostic investigations.• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology and electrophysiologyconsultations and participate in emergency or on-call cardiovascular services as required.• Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, non-invasive cardiologists, cardiacsurgeons, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians, and other members of themultidisciplinary clinical team.• Apply contemporary electrophysiology technologies, mapping systems, imaging techniques,and evidence-based treatment protocols to optimize patient outcomes.• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical documentation while complying withinstitutional policies, clinical governance requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.• Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews,and research activities where appropriate.• Contribute to continuing medical education, multidisciplinary case discussions, and theprofessional development of physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.QualificationsMD / MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.Recognized postgraduate specialization in Cardiology, such as DM, DNB, MD, fellowship, boardcertification, or an internationally equivalent qualification.• Formal subspecialty fellowship or recognized advanced training in Clinical CardiacElectrophysiology.• Typically 3–5+ years of post-specialization clinical experience, with substantial hands-onexperience in cardiac electrophysiology.• Demonstrated competency in electrophysiology studies,



catheter ablation procedures, andcardiac implantable electronic device management.• Valid medical registration/license in the candidate's current jurisdiction and eligibility to obtainthe medical registration or licensure required for practice in the employing Caribbeanjurisdiction.• Current certifications in relevant advanced cardiac life-support protocols are preferred.Skills & CompetenciesAdvanced clinical expertise in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.Strong procedural skills in invasive electrophysiology and arrhythmia management.Expertise in interpreting complex cardiac rhythm and electrophysiological data.Sound clinical judgment with a strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality cardiovascular care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients, families, andmultidisciplinary healthcare teams.Compassionate, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered approach to care.Ability to work effectively within an international and multidisciplinary clinical environment.Adaptability and confidence in managing both routine and complex cardiovascularpresentations.• Commitment to evidence-based medicine, continuing professional development, and lifelonglearning.
