We are
looking for experienced QC Engineers / QC Inspectors – Mechanical with
strong hands-on QA/QC experience in FRP duct fabrication and installation and related mechanical works.

The
selected candidates will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting FRP
fabrication and installation activities to ensure compliance with approved
drawings, specifications, quality standards, QAP/ITP requirements, and project
procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform
quality inspections for FRP duct fabrication and installation.

- Inspect
FRP components, fittings, joints, supports, and associated installation
activities.

- Verify
materials received against approved specifications and project
requirements.

- Ensure
proper material identification and traceability.

- Inspect
fabrication workmanship, dimensions, alignment, joints, connections, and
installation quality.

- Verify
FRP duct routing, supports, hangers, and installation against approved
drawings.

- Inspect
interfaces between FRP ducting and mechanical equipment.

- Monitor
installation of exhaust systems, scrubbers, and associated mechanical
equipment where applicable.

- Implement
and monitor approved QAP / ITP requirements.

- Prepare
and manage RFI/IR, MRIR/MAR, inspection reports, checklists, and
quality documentation.

- Identify
defects, deviations,



and non-conformities and raise NCRs where
required.

- Follow
up on corrective actions and ensure timely NCR closure.

- Coordinate
with construction and project teams for inspection and quality-related
activities.

- Support
testing, punch-list, and mechanical completion activities.

- Participate
in client/consultant inspections.

- Maintain
complete inspection and quality records for project handover.

Requirements

- 5–10
years of relevant QA/QC experience in mechanical, FRP, composite,
chemical, petrochemical, EPC, or industrial projects.

- Strong
hands-on experience in FRP duct fabrication and installation is preferred.

- Knowledge
of FRP materials, fabrication processes, installation practices, joints,
fittings, supports, and associated quality requirements.

- Positive
understanding of mechanical drawings and project specifications.

- Experience
with QAP/ITP and inspection documentation.

- Knowledge
of RFI/IR, MRIR/MAR, NCR, punch-list, and mechanical completion processes.

- Ability
to coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, clients, and
consultants.

- Semiconductor
experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.

- For FRP works –

i) Familiarisation with SMACNA standard

ii) Awareness of Barcol hardness testing method
