Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and optimize MongoDB databases in production environments.
- Manage and support cloud-native databases including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Neptune, Google Bigtable, and Google Firestore.
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery readiness of database platforms.
- Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support database-driven solutions.
- Troubleshoot database issues and implement proactive monitoring and automation.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

- Solid experience with MongoDB DBA administration and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, Neptune, Bigtable, and Firestore.
- Experience working in AWS and/or GCP public cloud environments.
- Knowledge of database backup/recovery, replication, clustering, and security best practices.
- Good understanding of automation, scripting, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Preferred

- Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical enterprise applications.
