Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor STP equipment such as pumps, blowers, motors, filters, and dosing systems.
- Check and maintain treatment parameters including pH, TDS, COD, BOD, MLSS, and flow levels.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of STP machinery.
- Maintain daily logbooks, operational records, and testing reports.
- Handle chemical dosing and ensure proper chemical inventory management.
- Monitor inlet and outlet water quality as per pollution control standards.
- Identify operational issues and report breakdowns immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the plant area.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams when required.
