Description
The Sales Account Manager - Industrial Sensors is an individual contributor responsible for driving profitable growth by developing strategic customer relationships, securing new business opportunities, and expanding existing accounts across the assigned territory.
The role focuses on promoting and selling the Gems Setra portfolio of sensing, monitoring, and fluid control solutions, including:
- Pressure Sensors & Pressure Switches
- Flow Sensors
- Level Sensors
- Solenoid Valves
- HVAC & Room Pressure Monitoring Solutions
- Industrial Process Monitoring Solutions

The successful candidate will work closely with OEMs, distributors, system integrators, and end users across industries including industrial automation, water & wastewater, HVAC, renewable energy, semiconductor, medical equipment, specialty vehicles, and process manufacturing. The role requires a consultative, value-based sales approach combined with strong technical understanding and account management capabilities.
Approximately 50% of the role will involve customer visits, business development activities,



channel engagement, and market development within the assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Key Account Management & Business Growth
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue within assigned accounts and territory.
- Protect existing business while identifying and securing current business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, operations, and executive leadership teams.
- Drive customer engagement through regular visits, business reviews, and opportunity development discussions.
- Own the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through order closure.

Product & Solution Selling
- Promote the Gems Setra portfolio of industrial sensing and fluid control products.
- Apply consultative and value-selling techniques to understand customer challenges and recommend effective solution
