nRoles And Responsibilities

- Proofread and edit entertainment articles for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.n
- Attention to detail and an eye for spotting errors.n
- Ensure that a zero-error, plagiarism-free copy is publishedn
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and language usage as per the style guides.n
- Verify factual accuracy and facilitate necessary changesn
- Collaborate with writers & the editorial team to deliver quality contentn
- Perform thorough checks for typographical errors and formatting issuesn
- Suggest revisions and enhancements to improve overall content qualityn
- Rehash press releases and publish. Occasionally, write articles based on given pointersn
- Knowledge of entertainment content & pop culture is absolutely necessary.n
- Publish edited articles on WordPress (WordPress training will be provided)n
- Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.n
- Stay updated with industry best practices and latest editing trendsn

nQualifications & Skills
n
- n
- 2- 4 years of experience as a Proofreader/Content Editor in online media & entertainment platforms.n
- Able to deal with a large daily volume (average 300-500 words/article or higher).n
- A graduate with expert-level written and spoken English and impeccable grammar.n
- Robust knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rulesn
- Attention to detail and exceptional editing skillsn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsn
- Experience in writing entertainment content online will be an added bonus.n
