About MyHauz

MyHauz is a home discovery platform that helps homeowners discover interior designers, architects, home builders, inspiring projects, and ideas for their homes.

We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Social Media Content Creator & Instagram Manager who can take ownership of our Instagram content and help grow the MyHauz brand.

Key Responsibilities

Content Research & Planning

- Research interior design, architecture, home décor and homeowner trends.
- Research trending Reel formats, topics, hooks and audio.
- Study relevant creators, brands and competitors for content inspiration.
- Identify topics homeowners are actively interested in.
- Build and maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar.
- Independently suggest new content ideas and formats.

Content Creation

You will be responsible for creating approximately:

7 Reels per week

2–3 Carousels/Posts per week

Regular Instagram Stories

Content can include:

- Interior-design tips
- Homeowner mistakes and advice
- Interior cost/budget breakdowns
- Before & after transformations
- Beautiful home/project showcases
- Interior inspiration
- Material comparisons
- Interior trends
- Professional/designer showcases
- MyHauz platform content
- Trending and entertaining home-related content

On-Camera Content:

You should be comfortable appearing on camera for selected MyHauz Reels.

You will be expected to create at least 2–3 on-camera Reels per week for MyHauz.

Examples:

- “3 mistakes to avoid when designing your kitchen”
- “What can ₹5 lakh get you for a 2BHK interior?”
- “MDF vs plywood — what's the difference?”




- “Ask these questions before hiring an interior designer.”

Not every Reel needs to be face-based. Content should include a healthy mix of on-camera videos, voiceovers, project showcases, trending formats and visual/inspiration content.

Shooting, Editing & Designing

- Shoot and edit short-form videos.
- Write engaging Reel hooks and scripts.
- Add subtitles, text, transitions, audio and effects.
- Create Carousels and Posts using Canva or similar tools.
- Repurpose available professional/project content into engaging social content.
- Maintain a consistent MyHauz brand style.

Instagram Account Management

You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the MyHauz Instagram account, including:

- Posting and scheduling content.
- Writing captions.
- Researching relevant keywords and hashtags.
- Using appropriate location tags.
- Selecting suitable/trending audio.
- Tagging featured professionals and businesses.
- Adding appropriate CTAs.
- Managing Stories.
- Organizing Highlights.
- Maintaining pinned posts.
- Monitoring and responding to comments.
- Handling basic DMs and forwarding business enquiries when required.
- Engaging naturally with relevant accounts and communities.

Analytics & Growth

Track and understand:





- Reel views
- Reach
- Watch time
- Audience retention
- Shares
- Saves
- Comments
- Profile visits
- Relevant follower growth
- Website clicks

Use performance data to understand what works and continuously improve future content.

What We're Looking For

- Strong understanding of Instagram and Reels.
- Comfortable appearing on camera.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Solid content research ability.
- Good video-editing skills.
- Canva or similar design experience.
- Ability to write strong hooks, scripts and captions.
- Understanding of Instagram trends, keywords, hashtags and tagging.
- Good visual sense.
- Interest in interiors, architecture, home décor or lifestyle content.
- Ability to work independently without needing content ideas provided every day.

Previous professional experience is not mandatory if you can demonstrate strong content skills.

Content should balance education, inspiration, entertainment, professional/project showcases and MyHauz brand awareness.

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a small content-creation task.
