Job ResponsibilitiesCreate, modify and optimize CNC machining programs based on engineering drawings.Develop G-code and M-code programs for CNC machines.Set and operate CNC machines for production and first-piece approval.Read and understand 2D drawings, GD&T;, tolerances and machining requirements.Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, speeds and feeds.Perform tool setting, work offset and tool offset.Handle CNC controls such as Fanuc / Mitsubishi / Siemens.Optimize programs to reduce cycle time and tool consumption.Identify and rectify programming and machining problems.Inspect components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve required quality and productivity.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.Positive knowledge of G-code / M-code.Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters and machining operations.Experience in CNC turning / VMC machining is preferred.Good troubleshooting and
