- Assist the cook in preparing food, snacks, beverages, and other cafe items.
- Prepare and handle basic ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, sauces, and other food items.
- Support cooking and food preparation as instructed by the head cook.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Wash and clean utensils, cooking equipment, and work surfaces.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Assist with stock checking and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support other cafe activities as required during busy hours.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cooking and kitchen work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- Punctual, responsible, and hardworking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cafe setting.
- Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, bakery, or similar establishment is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Full-time role with shifts as per cafe requirements.
