Mandatory Specialized Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of exclusive hands-on experience in Horizontal Machining Center (HMC) operations. (Prior experience with other CNC or VMC equipment is secondary).
Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of HMC machine mechanics, kinematics, and operational workflows.
Primary Technical Responsibilities
Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Ability to independently read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and component specifications.
Job Setup & Re-setting: Full capability to perform independent component setups, fixture alignment, and reset operations for recent production runs.
Tool Selection & Management: Expertise in selecting appropriate tooling, verifying tool suitability for specific material components, and managing tool loading/assembly.
In-Process Precision Inspection: High proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to inspect components and maintain strict dimensional accuracy.
