Operations Supervisor – Finishing, Quality & DispatchShort Role DescriptionResponsible for managing the final stage of factory operations including QC, folding, packing, sorting, dispatch, van loading, drivers, logistics support, and manpower management.

The role will manage approximately 60 employees around 24/7 and will focus strongly on productivity, process implementation, SOP compliance, quality, dispatch discipline, manpower control, and continuous process improvement.

Candidates from warehouse, fulfilment, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, garment, FMCG, or factory operations are preferred.

- Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage daily operations of QC, folding, packing, sorting, rack movement, and dispatch.
- Monitor hourly and daily production output against defined targets.
- Ensure work moves smoothly from finishing to packing and dispatch without bottlenecks.
- Allocate manpower based on workload, priority orders, and dispatch requirements.
- Manage and supervise a team of approximately 60 employees.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, productivity, and proper work allocation.
- Handle difficult or low-skilled labour professionally and ensure work discipline.
- Monitor QC quality and ensure items meet required finishing and packing standards.
- Reduce packing errors, rework, missing items, and wrong-item dispatch.
- Conduct random quality checks before dispatch.
- Ensure correct barcode scanning, sorting, packing, and rack placement.




- Manage factory dispatch activities and ensure orders are ready before cut-off time.
- Coordinate route-wise / outlet-wise sorting and dispatch preparation.
- Supervise van loading and unloading activities.
- Coordinate with drivers, van assistants, and logistics support teams.
- Ensure vehicles leave the factory according to planned dispatch schedules.
- Escalate vehicle delays, manpower shortages, or dispatch issues immediately.
- Ensure employees follow approved SOPs and process standards.
- Train new employees and retrain existing employees when required.
- Identify SOP deviations and correct them immediately.
- Implement current processes, systems, scanning procedures, and management instructions.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend practical improvements.
- Reduce unnecessary movement, waiting time, repeated handling, and manpower wastage.
- Improve workstation layout and manpower utilisation.
- Track productivity per employee and per process.
- Maintain proper shift handover for pending work, dispatch, rework, manpower, and priority orders.
- Prepare basic MIS / operational reports using Excel or system data.
- Support management in improving productivity, quality, dispatch accuracy, and process discipline.
- Drive a process-based operation instead of person-dependent working.
- Maintain strong floor presence and ensure operational issues are resolved during the shift.
