We are looking for an experienced Workday Testing Lead to own and manage end-to-end testing for a global Workday HR implementation. The candidate will work closely with HR SMEs, business stakeholders, integration teams and the wider Workday implementation team to ensure all testing activities are completed successfully ahead of go-live.
The role will involve coordination across North America, UK, Europe and APAC and will require strong experience in Workday HCM testing, test planning, data validation, integration testing and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end testing for the Workday HR implementation.
Develop and manage the overall testing strategy and test plan.
Create detailed testing scenarios in collaboration with HR SMEs.
Plan, track and monitor testing activities through completion.
Lead functional, integration, regression, SIT and UAT testing.
Lead data validation and process validation activities.
Support and validate data migration testing.
Perform testing of inbound and outbound Workday integrations.
Identify, track and manage defects through resolution.
Coordinate with HR SMEs, business users, technical teams and integration teams.
Prepare testing status reports,
test execution results and testing documentation.
Ensure all required HR testing is completed within project timelines.
Support testing activities across multiple global regions.
Participate in Workday releases and future regression testing activities.
Support additional Workday modules and implementation activities as required.
Mandatory Skills
5+ years of Workday experience.
Strong hands-on experience in Workday HR/HCM testing.
Experience working as a Testing Lead / Test Lead.
Proven experience owning testing strategy and test plans.
Strong experience in test scenario, test case and test data preparation.
Hands-on experience with data migration testing.
Robust integration testing experience.
Experience working in multi-system environments.
Strong experience in data validation and process validation.
Experience with SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing.
Strong defect management and testing documentation experience.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with HR SMEs and cross-functional teams.
