Job Overview

XtecGlobal is hiring a skilled WordPress & Shopify Designer / Developer with React.js experience to join our team. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and Shopify stores.

The role requires a good combination of development, UI implementation, e-commerce, customization, and website optimization skills.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites and Shopify stores.
- Build and customize Shopify themes, sections, templates, and storefront features.
- Work with Shopify Liquid, Metafields, Metaobjects, APIs, and third-party apps.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce websites.
- Work with Elementor/Elementor Pro, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Convert Figma, PSD, or Adobe XD designs into responsive websites.
- Develop interactive frontend features using React.js.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, apps, plugins, and other website functionalities.
- Improve website speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
- Handle website troubleshooting, debugging, migration, security, and maintenance.
- Work closely with design and marketing teams on website and e-commerce requirements.

Required Skills





- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
- Strong Shopify development experience, including Liquid, custom themes, sections, Metafields, and API integrations.
- Strong WordPress experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, custom themes/plugins, PHP, hooks, and custom functionalities.
- Practical knowledge of React.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, PageSpeed Insights, and GTmetrix.
- Experience working with third-party integrations, Shopify apps, WordPress plugins, and payment gateways.
- Git/version control knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant portfolio of WordPress, Shopify, and e-commerce websites is required.
