: Civil Supervisor - Factory

Position Title: Civil Supervisor

Department: Engineering / Projects / Maintenance

Location: Factory Site

Reporting To: Civil Engineer / Project Manager / Head - Engineering

Experience Required: 5 to 10 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Key ResponsibilitiesCivil Construction & Maintenance

- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities within the factory.
- Monitor construction of buildings, roads, drains, foundations, tanks, utility structures, and other infrastructure projects.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of factory buildings, flooring, roofing, boundary walls, and drainage systems.
- Ensure timely completion of civil projects as per approved drawings and specifications.

Site Supervision
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal departments.
- Ensure proper deployment of manpower, materials, and equipment at site.
- Verify measurements and work progress before contractor bill certification.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and workmanship.

Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, construction specifications, and industry best practices.
- Check quality of materials such as cement, steel, bricks, concrete, and finishing materials.
- Maintain records of inspections, material testing, and project progress.

Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all civil activities comply with safety regulations and factory policies.
- Monitor contractor adherence to EHS guidelines.




- Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions when required.

Planning & Coordination
- Prepare daily and weekly work progress reports.
- Track project schedules and highlight delays or resource requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, utility, and production teams for smooth project execution.

Documentation
- Maintain site records, measurement books, contractor bills, and project documentation.
- Assist in preparation of BOQs, estimates, and civil project reports.
- Ensure proper filing of drawings and approvals.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of civil construction practices and maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and layouts.
- Familiarity with construction materials and quality control procedures.
- Positive contractor management and team coordination skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.
