Role Purpose The Video Editor is responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and brand-aligned content. The role requires technical expertise, storytelling ability, attention to detail, and efficient project management.

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Video Editing & Post Production

Responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage into high-quality final videos
- Maintain proper pacing, storytelling flow, and audience retention
- Add transitions, effects, subtitles, and visual enhancements where necessary
- Ensure edits match the clients brand style and tone
- Maintain quality standards across all outputs

Expected Ownership:

- Deliver visually engaging and polished videos
- Ensure editing quality aligns with company standards

2. Color Grading & Visual Enhancement

Responsibilities:

- Perform color correction and color grading for professional output
- Ensure visual consistency across videos
- Improve footage quality through enhancement techniques
- Maintain aesthetic consistency based on client branding

Expected Ownership:

- Improve overall visual appeal and professional quality
- Ensure videos maintain premium presentation standards

3. Audio & Sound Management

Responsibilities:

- Clean and balance audio levels




- Add sound effects, music, and background audio appropriately
- Ensure audio clarity and synchronization
- Remove unnecessary noise and disturbances

- Ensure professional sound quality in all deliverables
- Improve audience viewing experience

4. Project Management & File Organization

Responsibilities:

- Organize footage, project files, exports, and backups systematically
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Track revisions and client feedback properly
- Deliver outputs within deadlines
- Coordinate with project managers and content teams for updates

- Maintain workflow efficiency
- Prevent delays, file loss, or confusion in project handling

5. On-Site Video Shooting & Production

- Responsibilities:
- Operate cameras, lighting setups, and audio gear for in office shoots
- Frame and capture high-quality raw video footage for reels, interviews, and brand content
- Collaborate on set to ensure creative concepts and storyboards are executed properly

- Expected Ownership:
- Capture clean, professional raw footage optimized for productive editing and post-production
