Role & responsibilities

- Perform TIG welding on SS 304, SS 316/316L and other stainless-steel components.

- Weld machine frames, tanks, pipelines, vessels, structures, and precision-fabricated components.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.

- Perform accurate welding as per required dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

- Maintain proper weld quality, finish, alignment, and appearance.

- Carry out butt welding, fillet welding, pipe welding, and sheet-metal welding as required.

- Handle thin-gauge stainless-steel sheets and precision components with minimum distortion.

- Perform grinding, finishing, polishing, and weld cleaning where required.

- Inspect welded components for defects such as porosity, cracks, undercut, and improper penetration.

- Use welding machines, gas equipment, grinders, measuring instruments, and other fabrication tools safely.

- Coordinate with fabrication, mechanical assembly, and production teams.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Complete assigned production work within the required quality and delivery schedule.

Preferred candidate profile

- 47 years of relevant experience in TIG welding / precision fabrication.





- Strong hands-on experience in stainless-steel TIG welding.

- Experience in machinery manufacturing or industrial fabrication preferred.

- Knowledge of SS 304 / SS 316 / SS 316L welding.

- Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.

- Good understanding of welding parameters, current settings, gas flow, and filler selection.

- Ability to achieve clean, hygienic, and high-quality weld finishes.

- Knowledge of basic welding inspection and defect identification.

- Ability to work independently as well as with a production team.
