We are hiring an experienced Cardiology / Interventional Radiology (IVR) Medical Coder with 3-6 years of expertise in CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and modifier coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and code Cardiology and IVR medical records, operative reports, and procedure documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, NCCI, and payer-specific guidelines.
- Support denial resolution and coding quality initiatives.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in Cardiology and/or IVR coding.
- Solid knowledge of Cardiac Cath, PCI/Stents, Pacemakers, EP studies, Peripheral Vascular, and Interventional Radiology procedures.
- CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
