Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer Lead with strong ITOM expertise to lead the design, development, customization, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience across ServiceNow ITOM, integrations, workflows, scripting, and platform development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Work extensively on ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and business processes.
- Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery Patterns, MID Servers, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and web services.
- Develop scripts using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
- Design and implement ServiceNow workflows and automation.
- Work on Event Management including event rules, alert management, and event correlation.
- Implement and maintain Service Mapping for critical business applications and services.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, performance optimization, and release activities.
- Review technical requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with business stakeholders, architects, and other technical teams.




- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
- Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and implementation plans.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data model.

Lead-Level Skills
- Ability to independently own ServiceNow technical solutions from requirement gathering through deployment.
- Experience leading ServiceNow development teams/projects.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to conduct technical reviews and mentor team members.
- Good stakeholder and client communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, change management, and deployment processes.

Candidate Profile
- Strong ServiceNow development background with significant ITOM implementation experience.
- Should have hands-on development experience rather than only ServiceNow administration/support.
- Should be comfortable handling technical leadership responsibilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willing to work from Bangalore.
