About Helmio

Helmio is building a new category around helmet hygiene and everyday rider care. We’re creating smart, convenient helmet sanitisation solutions that make keeping your helmet clean as easy as grabbing a coffee.

We’re a young, creative and fast-moving startup looking for someone who wants to do more than just edit videos.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the marketing, creative and business teams to turn ideas, shoots, customer stories and real-world moments into engaging content that helps build the Helmio brand.

What You’ll Do

Video Editing & Content Creation

- Edit Reels, short-form videos and social media content for multiple platforms.
- Shoot raw footage from office activities, installations, events and customer interactions.
- Turn raw footage into engaging content using tools such as CapCut, VN, Edits, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
- Understand the objective behind each video and edit accordingly.
- Add music, sound effects, transitions, text, graphics and captions.
- Create different versions and formats for Instagram, YouTube and other platforms.
- Stay updated with short-form video trends, editing styles and content formats.

Creative & Storytelling

- Work with the creative and marketing teams to develop video concepts.
- Bring your own ideas to Reels, campaigns, brand content and social media.
- Understand pacing, storytelling, hooks and visual flow.
- Contribute to the creative direction instead of simply following instructions.
- Identify interesting moments from shoots, installations, customer interactions and behind-the-scenes activities that can become content.

Brand & Social Media





- Ensure all content aligns with Helmio’s brand identity and communication style.
- Create content that feels fresh, relatable and relevant to riders and businesses.
- Develop content around products, customers, partnerships, installations and Helmio’s journey.
- Experiment with new formats and creative approaches.
- Review content performance and use insights to improve future content.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with the marketing, design, sales and business teams.
- Take feedback positively and implement revisions efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Take ownership of projects from raw footage to final delivery.

What We’re Looking For

- Creative, curious and passionate about video and storytelling.
- Strong understanding of short-form content, especially Instagram Reels.
- Good knowledge of editing tools such as Canva, Edits, CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar.
- Understanding of pacing, music, transitions, typography and visual storytelling.
- Ability to turn a basic idea or raw footage into an engaging final video.
- Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
- Someone who actively follows social media trends and understands what makes content engaging.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to experiment, learn and take ownership without constant supervision.
- Prior experience in video editing, content creation,



social media or a creative role is preferred.
- Portfolio and creative ability matter more than years of experience.

Work Structure

First 3 Months — Probation

- 6-day work week.
- One week: 6 days in office.
- Alternate week: 5 days in office 1 WFH.
- Probation period: 3 months.

After Probation

- 5-day work week.
- 2 WFH days per week.
- Sunday weekly off.
- Opportunity to grow into a leadership role.

The Opportunity

This isn’t a role where you’ll be given footage and asked to make the same type of video every day.

At Helmio, you could be editing a product Reel in the morning, joining a shoot in the afternoon, creating content from a new machine installation the next day and working on a brand campaign after that.
