Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in providing high-quality care to animals. The ideal candidate will assist with examinations, treatments, and daily clinic operations while ensuring a clean and safe environment for pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:Animal Care & Handling:

- Assist veterinarians and technicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Safely handle and restrain animals during exams and treatments.
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, bathing, and exercising pets.

Medical Support & Procedures:

- Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as X-rays and laboratory tests.
- Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision.
- Monitor animals recovering from surgery or treatment.

Client Interaction & Communication:

- Greet pet owners and provide information on pet care, treatments, and follow-up instructions.
- Educate clients on preventive care, nutrition, and medications.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and patient records.

Clinic Maintenance & Inventory:

- Clean and sanitize examination rooms, surgical areas, and equipment.




- Restock medical supplies and assist in inventory management.
- Dispose of biohazard materials according to safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Veterinary Assistant certification preferred).
- Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or pet care facility is a plus.
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and multitask.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with animals and owners.
- Willingness to learn and follow clinic protocols.

Work Environment:

- Exposure to animals, including those that are sick, injured, or aggressive.
- May require lifting animals up to [X] lbs.
- Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
