About the Role

Data Prowess Private Limited is looking for an experienced UI/UX Developer to lead the design and development of intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and development — independently owning the process from user research through to pixel-perfect implementation — while mentoring junior team members and ensuring design consistency across products. This is a full-time, onsite role based out of our Bangalore office.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for web and mobile applications, from research and wireframing through to final implementation
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design strategy
- Translate UX/UI designs into functional, high-quality front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks)
- Build and maintain scalable design systems, style guides, and component libraries
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and leadership to align design decisions with business and technical goals
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible (WCAG compliant), and optimized across devices and browsers
- Review and provide feedback on the work of junior designers/developers, mentoring them on best practices
- Drive continuous improvement of products based on user feedback, analytics, and usability testing
- Stay ahead of UI/UX trends, tools,



and emerging front-end technologies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, pixel-perfect implementation at scale

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both design and hands-on development work
- Advanced proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like React/Angular/Vue
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility
- Proven experience building and scaling design systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Experience mentoring junior designers/developers is preferred
- Willingness and ability to work onsite from the Bangalore office on a full-time basis

Good to Have

- Experience with advanced prototyping and user research methodologies
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development workflows
- Experience working on client-facing/B2B products
- Prior experience in a lead or senior IC role
