Job Vacancy - Trademark Specialist

JSY Intellectual Property is seeking a qualified and motivated Trademark Specialist to join its Intellectual Property team at its office in Jeddah.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive professional with 3–5 years of practical experience in trademark procedures and portfolio management , who is capable of handling trademark applications, monitoring statutory deadlines, and managing trademark-related correspondence and reports with a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, file, and follow up on trademark applications and related procedures.
- Handle trademark renewals, assignments, changes of particulars, licenses, cancellations, recordals, and other post-registration matters.
- Monitor and follow up on trademark applications before the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) and other relevant authorities.
- Manage and monitor statutory deadlines and ensure that all required actions are completed within the prescribed time limits.
- Review and process correspondence, notifications, examination reports, and decisions issued by trademark offices.
- Prepare status reports and periodic updates for clients.
- Prepare and follow up on instructions and correspondence relating to the filing and prosecution of trademark applications.
- Conduct and assist with trademark searches and provide preliminary analysis of search results.
- Monitor trademark publications and identify potentially relevant or conflicting applications.
- Assist with oppositions, responses to oppositions, refusals, appeals, and related proceedings .
- Maintain and organize electronic files, trademark databases, and client portfolios.




- Prepare portfolio reports and deadline reports for clients and management.
- Communicate professionally with clients, local associates, and international IP agents and follow up on assigned matters.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s procedures, client requirements, and applicable trademark laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- At least 3-5 years of practical experience in trademarks or intellectual property, preferably with an IP law firm, IP agency, or specialized intellectual property company.
- Good knowledge of trademark filing, examination, publication, registration, renewal, and post-registration procedures .
- Practical experience with trademark procedures before the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) is preferred.
- Ability to manage a large number of files and deadlines simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Robust organizational, follow-up, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to prepare professional correspondence and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic IP management systems.
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, associates, and IP offices both within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
- Proactive mindset, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to take ownership of assigned matters through completion.
