Territory Manager Trade Sales (Meerut)

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive and achieve sales targets for the assigned territory through effective channel management.

- Manage Primary Sales by ensuring timely order generation from distributors and maintaining healthy stock levels.

- Monitor and drive Secondary Sales by increasing product off-take through dealers, retailers, and channel partners.

- Enhance Tertiary Sales by ensuring product movement from retailers to end customers and improving market penetration.

- Appoint and develop new dealers and retailers to expand market coverage.

- Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.

- Ensure product visibility, merchandising, and implementation of trade schemes in the market.

- Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key influencers.





- Monitor collections and ensure adherence to company credit policies.

- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence for management review.

- Coordinate with internal teams for product availability, promotional activities, and customer support.

Requirements:

- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).

- 3–8 years of experience in trade sales, preferably in Electrical, Lighting, Switchgear, FMCG, Building Materials, or Consumer Durables.

- Strong understanding of primary, secondary, and tertiary sales concepts.

- Experience in distributor and channel management.

- Valuable communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
